Worked great in pantry pulls a heavy shelf out all the way
I used these to create a slide-out tray for an 88-key keyboard under my desk. The hinges are far heavier duty than what I need, but they work well. Only reason for one less star is that one of the hinges pulls out a half inch or so further than the other. Not a big deal but still kind of annoying.
These slides are unbelievably smooth. Installation was a breeze. They do take up a bit more space than I had hoped to use, but overall a good value.
I used these in a slightly unconventional way but they worked perfectly.I used them as drawer slides for a tray to hold an 85lb keyboard. I had issues with previous side mount slides so I actually used these as mounts on the top of the desk arm and underneath the tray itself. Finished project looks nice. Very heavy duty! Like many have said definitely add weight to the project. But they worked when I couldn't find anything else thay would.
The 2 star review is because it says they are rated for 260 pounds and that's not true. They might hold 260 pounds closed but definitely not extended. I put my 100 pound planer on a drawer I built with them and you can see in the picture that the end of the drawer is resting on the table from the slides flexing under the weight. Again, that's only 100 pounds and it's not fully extended. The other picture is so you can see the actual slide flexing to the point it's resting on my table.
